Hey, Hillsboro-folks!  Greetings from Bethany!  Did anyone get out today?  I'm looking for a road report for Evergreen/Cornell between 185th and the airport -- anyone able to update me?  Thanks!

We didn't even try to leave home today, but we need to get out tomorrow, and we're trying to figure out whether to head West to Hillsboro, or East to Cedar Mill and Portland.

Thanks!  And stay warm!

I just went for a walk between Cornell and Evergreen and people with chains or SUVs didn't seem to have any problems. Cornell was actually starting to have some bare pavement showing in the tire tracks. The side streets are still packed snow, probably about 3 to 4 inches of it covering the road. My brother-in-law was out shopping today in Tanasbourne with just studded tires and was able to get around with no problems.

Good news! Thanks!

I'm hoping there will be a lot of trail-blazers out tomorrow morning, and maybe by 10 or so I'll be able to get about without much trouble.

That's what I'm hoping. We don't have chains, just snow tires on our Accord and while I don't need to go anywhere tomorrow I am getting pretty sick of my apartment.

I didn't leave the house today, but I do wonder about Evergreen Pkwy because we go to Kaiser. Is it being plowed, I wonder?

I wish I knew. I've heard that major arteries that are supposed to be plowed haven't been, at least in downtown Portland. I have no idea what Washington County is doing or not. They have a website, wc-roads.com, but it's down right now.

Meh. I suppose if something happens to one of us I'll ... I don't know. I guess call 911 if it seems life threatening and let the paramedics sort out where to take us.
